Statutory leave accrued for this pay period
One qualifying pay period and an independently established eligible irregular-hours/part-year contract in Great Britain. No Northern Ireland rules, regular-hours entitlement, year-to-date 5.6-week cap check, enhanced leave, sick/maternity accrual averaging or holiday-taking payment reference period. The optional cash illustration does not select your employer’s permitted policy.

How this calculator works
For eligible irregular-hours or part-year contracts with leave years starting on or after 1 April 2024, statutory leave accrues at 12.07% of hours worked in a pay period. The fractional result is rounded to the nearest whole hour, with half an hour rounded upward. Separately, permitted rolled-up holiday pay can be calculated as a percentage of qualifying pay; its cash amount is not a replacement for the time-off entitlement.
Formula and rules
Raw accrued hours = worked hours × 12.07%. Rounded period entitlement = floor(raw hours + 0.5). Optional rolled-up amount = entered eligible pay × 12.07%.

Common questions
Can a regular full-time employee use 12.07% here?
This scope is only the eligible irregular-hours/part-year reform. Ordinary regular-hours entitlement uses a different workflow.
Should I round every hour worked?
No. Calculate accrual from total worked hours in the pay period, then round the resulting entitlement to whole hours.
Does rolled-up pay remove my right to leave?
No. Eligible rolled-up holiday pay and accrued time off are distinct. Confirm policy and legal contract eligibility before applying the cash illustration.
